Cambs GSD Rescue.

Tessa is a 3 year old GSD bitch she has been vaccinated, wormed and frontlined but not spayed .

Tessa has a very sad story she was homed with a  family who never wormed her or looked after her properly, she was so full of worms that she was unable to put on any weight. Tess was almost blind and epileptic too .

When her breeder found out about her plight he took her back to get her on her feet again .... since being back with her breeder Tess has gained weight nicely and her sight has been restored at least 50% with the eye medication that she has been on for the past three months. She still cannot see out of the bottom of her eyes so can trip up the kerbs if she isn't checked whilst out for a walk ... but she can now see much better out of the rest of her eyes.

Tessa has been on herbal medication for the past two months or more now for her epilepsy .we decided to try her on this because they also work on the nervous system and they are helping Tessa tremendously. Since being on them Tess is only fitting  once every three weeks now which is a vast improvement from the constant fits she was having .We are hoping the periods in between her fits will get longer now the meds seem to be working her epilepsy meds are around £ 6.00 for three months and her eyes meds are £10 every two months on private prescription, so not too expensive !

Even though Tessa has medical problems she is quite energetic and is used to having 3 mile walks a couple of times a day.

Unfortunately Tessa's breeder cannot keep her indefinitely due to personal reasons, so we are looking for the special, loving couple out there that will give her lots of love and comfort in her forever home.
If you think you are that special couple or person please contact me on  ~ 01733 - 768155 or visit our website

Two beautiful GSD's that need to be homed together, they are Father and Daughter.

Both dogs need a new home is because their present owner is moving and cannot take them with him.

Phoebe is 6 years old SHE has been spayed and vaccinated

Andre' is 7 years old not neutered but HE is vaccinated

Both dogs are short coat and we are assured that they are good with children and have been interactive with children ages 6,7 and 11 but as they do not actually live with younger children in the home we would prefer to home them with children 10 years and upwards in the family or to a couple with no children.

Neither of the dogs likes cats.

Phoebe and Andre are living outdoors at the moment but we would like to get them tucked up in a cosy and loving home before Christmas, and before the weather sets in too cold.
They are perfectly housetrained and love to live indoors we are assured, and will settle down in the evenings to watch the TV with you.

If you can offer Phoebe and Andre' a nice warm and loving forever home

Please contact me on 01733 - 768155 or visit our website .

Rosie came to us on 10th February 2008, she had been running loose over wet fields and very little food . Rosie is a very loving girl, very well mannered and good on the lead …. She eats well and is a pleasure to be around… now she is better she needs a permanent home and a good family to love her.
The vet thinks Rosie is around 8 years old … she does have hip displacia but copes very well with it and is quite active and can happily canter back home on her walks ... she is on Rimadyl at the moment to see how she goes and she is now fully vaccinated and wormed. Rosie also gets on with cats very well and dogs to a degree. We would like an older couple with no children or other animals for Rosie (well maybe a cat might be ok) as she likes her peace and quiet at times … and she needs  lots of TLC.  We think she deserves that after the trauma she has been through
If you would like to offer our Rosie a good permanent loving home.

Roxy and Buddy are two beautiful 3 year old German Shepherds ...

Roxy ( female) has been spayed and Buddy (male) has been neautered ... they are both Vaccinated, wormed , Microchipped and tattooed.
Roxy and Buddy are very loved but need to be rehomed through no fault of their own but due to a marriage break up...
This means they are having to be left for long hours on their own now and their owner doesn't think that is very fair on them.
Roxy is 3 years old, she will be 4 years on the 6th of June this year ... a little Gemini girl
Roxy is good with people as well as children and ok with other dogs but she does not like cats !  ... She loves to play football !  Roxy does pull sometimes on the lead a little out of excitement when on a walk .
She loves training and heel work and on 24th April 2005 she achieved her Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Award  at her local training school ...Clever girl
Buddy is 3 years old, he will be 4 years on the 31st October this year... a very handsome Halloween boy

Buddy is good with people and children but does not like other dogs or cats ! ... Except his Roxy of course
Buddy loves to play ball and can run like the wind.  He does pull on the lead and is afraid of cars but this could be rectified with a little more experienced training.
Roxy and Buddy have lived with children aged 7,11 and 15 years old but we would prefer to home them to either a couple with no children or a family with children 12 years and up.
We are looking for a good and loving forever home for Roxy and Buddy, preferably with people that have had previous experience with German Shepherds and with enough room for them to run and play happily together.

Please note : We do not home to people that are out at work all day or with unsecured gardens and our rescue dogs are only homed to good and loving homes .... and definately not for working or guarding.

Vet checks and home checks will be required. If you would like to offer our Roxy and Buddy a good and loving forever home then please contact me on the
German Shepherd Cambs Rescue line :- 01733 - 768155 or visit our website .
